“Hello, world!”
This is the phrase your dad and I are familiar with from our school years. “Hello, world” is the first sentence programmers learn how to print when they learn a new programming language or try out a new feature. It also welcomes you to our lives, our new world : )
I don’t know how old you’ll be when you read this, David, but I hope that you’ll be a healthy and fulfilled human. Your dad and I will be there for you to provide the support you need along the way.
Your dad and I decided to start this private blog as a series of letters to you, David of the future. We’re doing this to give you a peek into the past and to give you a sense of how much you’ve grown and changed and as a way for us to process the parenthood milestones.
